Judith Butler on Trump's presidency

I am far from agreeing with all the Guardian might publish, or Judith Butler. But here is an interesting response to the current situation, by Butler in the Guardian. One can have all the opinions one likes, but one thing stands out; Donald Trump has not been washed away in a great tidal wave of opposition. The close race is telling us something significant about the state of the United States, about how divided this nation is. Our world is becoming increasingly polarised, and this contains the seeds of great harm for us all. We need to try to understand why. Click on the link below to access the article.
